Of course. In response to requests by donors, we at Kesher have developed a special model of “direct contributions” that allows each donor to choose a project, a program or a service close to their heart and to donate directly to it. We are also open to new initiatives
All donations to Kesher are authorized according to paragraph 26 (a) of the tax code as a non-profit organization 58-02351-25. According to Israeli law, a donation of over 180 shekels (from January 2016) to an approved public institution is recognized according to paragraph 46 (a) of the tax code at the rate of 35% of the donation.
Of course, if you are a salaried employee, you are entitled to tax credit which you will receive in the framework of your monthly salary during the tax year in which your donation was made. If you do not receive the return in this way, you may request a tax refund.
You can relax. The concealment mechanism for donations through the Kesher site are protected by the excellent Cardcom security system. This system allows you to rest assured that the information you provided is stored securely and cannot be transferred or otherwise used without your permission. In addition, the entire concealment process meets the international PCI standards-considered to be the most stringent in the world.
Definitely. For this reason, we request that you contribute through the “Israel Contributes” site – which offers an online system that ensures recognition of donations by the American, Canadian and British tax authorities. Additional detailse available on the site:
It is possible to donate in the memory of someone dear to you or to contribute jointly in honor of a special occasion or event that you, your friends or family are celebrating. In such instances, we also provide a decorative certificate of honor detailing the contribution and suitable to present at the event or an document describing the organization’s enlistment of donors including the sending of virtual certificates.
At the Kesher organization, we are pleased to receive any contribution: beginning with financial ones, going on to volunteering and including equipment that can help us upgrade our activities in the offices and branches in the field. In addition, we are always happy to receive legal aid, psychological support, volunteer mentoring as well as assistance in administration or maintenance and in any other area that can provide aid to special families. If you possess the spirit of volunteering in your heart and want to give more, we will be happy to involve you in the lively community activities that our organization fosters.
